Essential cookies keep core LimePin features working.Optional analytics or advertising technologies should respect your consent choice. You can manage browser permissions and cookie settings.Cookie use may change as LimePin features and suppliers change.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage or software development kits, can perform related functions. On this page, we use the word ‘cookies’ as a convenient description for these technologies.

2. Essential cookies

Some cookies are necessary for LimePin to work securely and cannot reasonably be switched off through a consent preference panel. They may be used to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember security state, route requests correctly or preserve settings required for a service you request.

  • Authentication and sign-in state.
  • Security, fraud prevention and abuse protection.
  • Session continuity and load balancing.
  • Remembering privacy or consent choices.

3. Preferences and functionality

Where enabled, preference cookies may remember choices that improve your experience, such as an area, display preference or feature setting. Some of these may be essential to a feature you actively request; others may be optional depending on how the feature is implemented.

4. Analytics

LimePin may use analytics to understand which pages and features are useful, how visitors move around the site, what devices are used and where errors occur. Where the law requires consent for a particular analytics technology, it should not be activated until the appropriate choice has been made.

Analytics should be configured to collect only information reasonably needed to improve LimePin and should not be used to override your privacy choices.

5. Advertising and measurement

If LimePin later uses advertising, conversion measurement or retargeting technologies, those technologies may create or read identifiers in your browser. Non-essential advertising technologies should be subject to the relevant consent controls before they are used.

6. Third-party technologies

Some LimePin features rely on third-party providers, for example payments, maps, embedded content, authentication or analytics. Those providers may set or read cookies when their service is loaded, subject to the way the integration is configured and the provider’s own terms.

Where possible, LimePin should avoid loading non-essential third-party technologies until the user’s cookie choice permits it.

7. How long cookies last

Some cookies last only for the current browser session and disappear when it ends. Others may remain for a defined period so a setting, consent choice or account state can be remembered. Retention periods should be no longer than reasonably required for their purpose.

8. Managing your choices

You can usually control cookies through LimePin’s cookie preference controls, where available, and through your browser or device settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in, saved preferences or other core features from working properly.

Browser controls can also be used to delete cookies that have already been stored. Device location, notifications and similar permissions are usually managed separately through browser or operating-system settings.

9. Changes to this page

This information may be updated when LimePin adds or removes services, analytics tools, advertising features or technical providers. The date at the top of this page should show when the policy was most recently updated.
