1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using LimePin, you agree to these Terms of Use and any additional terms that apply to a particular feature. If you do not agree, you should not use that feature or the platform.
These terms apply to visitors, registered members, business users and people using LimePin features such as community pages, jobs, events, Dating, Auctions and Listen.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when an account or verification process asks for it, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must not impersonate another person or business, create accounts to evade restrictions, or allow another person to misuse your account. Age-restricted services have their own eligibility rules, including the 18+ requirement for LimePin Dating.
3. Businesses, listings and user content
Businesses and users remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and rights relating to content they publish on LimePin. A verification badge or other platform marker does not amount to a guarantee of quality, solvency, identity or future performance.
- Do not post false, misleading or deceptive business information.
- Only upload photos, logos, text and other material you have the right to use.
- Keep prices, availability, contact details and important listing information reasonably up to date.
- Do not manipulate reviews, rankings, referrals, clicks or other platform signals.
4. Paid plans, adverts and promotions
Some LimePin features may require payment, including business memberships, paid map placement, featured listings, advertising or other upgrades. The price and billing period shown when you purchase will apply to that order.
Recurring services continue until cancelled in accordance with the cancellation method made available for that service. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded. Promotional pricing, discounts and complimentary access may be subject to stated eligibility, duration or usage conditions.
5. Product-specific services
Some areas of LimePin have additional rules because they involve different risks or transactions. Auction users must also follow the Auction Terms. Dating users must follow the Dating Safety guidance and any Dating-specific conditions. Community spaces are governed by the Community Guidelines.
LimePin Listen provides AI-based emotional support and signposting. It is not an emergency service, medical service or substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment.
6. Prohibited use
You must not misuse LimePin or interfere with other people’s use of it.
- No fraud, scams, harassment, threats, hate, stalking or deliberate intimidation.
- No unlawful goods, services or content.
- No attempts to bypass security, scrape restricted data, overload the service or gain unauthorised access.
- No collection or misuse of another person’s private information.
- No use of LimePin to send spam, malware or deceptive communications.
7. Intellectual property
LimePin and its own branding, software, interface, designs and original content are protected by intellectual-property rights. Except where the law allows, you may not copy, sell, reverse engineer or commercially reuse those elements without permission.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant LimePin the permissions reasonably required to host, display, process and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the relevant LimePin service.
8. Moderation, suspension and removal
LimePin may investigate reports, remove or limit content, pause listings, restrict features, suspend accounts or terminate access where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law or protect the platform.
Where appropriate, we may give an explanation or opportunity to correct an issue, but urgent safety, legal or fraud concerns may require immediate action.
9. Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep LimePin reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change, be tested, paused or withdrawn as the platform develops.
LimePin may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their products, availability and terms remain their responsibility unless LimePin expressly states otherwise.
10. Liability and user-to-user dealings
LimePin provides a platform for local discovery and interaction. Unless LimePin is expressly the seller or service provider, transactions and arrangements between users or businesses are primarily between those parties.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, LimePin is not responsible for losses caused by another user’s independent acts, inaccurate user-submitted content, or events outside LimePin’s reasonable control.
11. Ending your use of LimePin
You may stop using LimePin and may close eligible accounts using the available account controls or by contacting us. Outstanding payment, transaction, fraud-prevention, accounting or legal obligations may continue after an account is closed.
12. Law and changes
These terms are intended to operate under the laws applicable to LimePin’s UK service. Mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules continue to apply where they cannot legally be changed by contract.
We may update these terms as LimePin changes. Material updates should be dated and, where appropriate, notified to registered users.
